bro achtung, Firstly i doubt the shipping cost of GBP 45 for shipping a (damn heavy) performance brake set to Msia is correct. So pls double check the shipping cost b4 u commit. I hv shipped records (vinyl black records) and one piece cost me GBP 8, and im sure u know how light records are. Secondly of cos u can get the help of that seller to under-declare the price of the brake to say, GBP100. Most items shiped to Msia that do not cross RM600 should escape taxes. But the collection of such 'heavy' parcels still gota be done fr Pos Msia customs located next to LCCT Air Asia Terminal. Over there, the customs will 'bargain' with u and there are 'ways' to get the product out without taxes. Thirdly, u can declare the product as 'Product Sample' for testing on a race track. Ask seller to ship fr their company address to a company in Msia. Get one of yr friend's company to help u out so they can provide a valid & legitimate company name & address so yr UK seller can courier the 'sample' company to company. You should be able to escape tax that way too. Fourthly, if all else fails, contact David Yong as he has mentioned to u about a 'special' way for u to bring it in... cheers.
