Hi,

I'm Calvin from KL.

I've looking at getting myself a used E39, perhaps a 2003 520i ranging between 30-40K.
So getting myself used to the forum and also what to look out for before the commitment.

I have experience in Asian car mainly Wira, Waja, Kelissa, Corolla and now a Camry.
No experience in continental cars at all.

I've read the thread E39 523i 1997 model common problems owners faced and e39 Parts and Maintenance Cost to gain some knowledge and understanding.

I have my worries in the price of running maintenance and price when it comes to old parts.
Of course whether I will be getting a ripped off when buying the used car.

Hope all E39 expert there can advice accordingly. Thanks
