1. Flimsy design of cup holder => A bit worried myself when my significant other gets in and out of the car with the cup holder in the 'out' position 2. Glaring of aluminium panel surrounding the gear panel -issues with insulation of air vent piping to the rear aircond vent and now it 'squeak and rattles' like hell => Change to carbon fibre or dark walnut trim to resolve the glare issue! As to the air con insulation, it is a known issue but BMW says it is 'normal'! Mine has no rattle yet BTW (knock on wood!) 3. Rattle from top air cond vent on IP/dashboard. 4. DTC button position beside the central lock button.-safety issues 5. Power window button too far, always mistaken by the rear p/w switch. => Guess yours is the pre-LCI model. Resolved on the LCI. 6. Door handle rubberize coating-not suitable and started to peel off badly. => Mine's still OK after 1 1/2 years. Will keep an eye on this. 7. ICE-Not able to store the display 'LIST' of my MP3s when switch on/off the car. Need to set back everytime turn on the car. => No such problem on mine (LCI 323i) 8. No ON/OFF aircond switch. Need to switch off the fan => Button to turn off the AC is on the right side of the control panel, between the demister buttons.
