Car insurance is based on indemnity only and you cannot gain from it, that is why they are charging you 30% for the betterment.For me, i opted for used original parts, most of the times they are better that taiwan parts.When I had the accident, all the rubber hoses, radiator and spare tanks i changed to new original ones which I deal separately and top up the difference directly to the repairer and not the insurer.</blockquote>
