BMW E36 Engine

Hi, AllAskin on behalf of my frenfor e36, other than M3 engine, is there any 3.0litre engine?If not, anyone know any chop shop currently having the 328i vanos engine? Cost?pls advise

There are lots of other non "m" 3.0 engines from BMW.
You can try getting an e46 3.0 engine.
There are lots of threads on pricing for a half cut, just do a search.

How much does this engine cost anyway....and its a 3.0l engine?

There is an jap spec E46 M54tuB30 engine+gearbox for sale... asking for RM2x,xxx. PM me if u're interested. I'll hook u up.

btw, u can also opt for the US E36 M3 conversion. it's basically a rebored and stroked M50TUB25.

See what I mean ? Anyway, there's still ( I hope ) an M50B30 engine packed up at one of the workshops in Skudai. Last I remember, the owner was asking for about RM 12K for the engine et all - no tranny. Not sure if he had sold it off by now.
