M40 318i, 1991 model.Recently while driving, I have begun to hear a noise which sounds like it's coming from the under carriage. Got it checked with a mechanic, the drive shaft mount was replaced and everything was okay. Now, two weeks later, it's back. It does not occur immediately when I start driving. After half an hour or so, there's a weird 'chinking' sound, something like a box of coins being shaken. Have any of you come across something like this?
