I havent had this problem but on my E60 525i, the A/C would remain on HIGH blast when i turned off the car.And start back on, still high blast, turn off still high blast.I just left it and 30 minutes later when i returned to the car after bak kut teh, it was off and that problem never surfaced again. That was a good 8 months ago so i guess you've got nothing to worry about?
