If F10 is the same as F30, you only depress the brake pedal while pressing the button to start the engine (for surety reason)When shut off, just press the button once to shut off the engine and go to ancillary mode (radio, lights etc), press one more time to shut off the ancillary mode (both times no need to depress the brake pedal).Just like the old days when you switch off using key, click and click remember?
