For your questions here, my answers are as follows :Q1 : I had a drive train error that pop up but Ingress got it fixed. They change the sensors and refresh the i drive. No charge as under warranty. For normal service,once I drive prompts you for service,just make appointment. Usually get appointment within 1 week.Q2 : Have a friend that usually change his rides every 2 to 3 years. He has an E90 320d and has not let it go since. He says he is happy with it. Personally for me,if the car does not give you problems,why change? Unless gatal la for new model.Q3 : I read somewhere before that the DPF filter is not remove in some of the recond unit which causes it to have some problems after some time with our E2 diesel. Overseas like UK are already running on E5. If possible,go for a local unit. When test drive, keep an ear out for any creaking suspension, an eye out for any warning on the dashboard. If possible with the consent of the owner,bring it to any BMW service centre and ask them to do a complete check on the unit and give you a report. They will run the diagnostic and the machine would probably tell you it's medical history if any. Also,with the current floods we are having,look put for any water stains in the carpets not the floor mats as floor mats can be changed.
