Hi everyone. I'm a new member here and got my car mid of Jan. I had the same rattling issues and mine was coming from the driver door window switches and also the rear driver side passenger handle/grab bar. Sent it to SC and they have rectified the noise and said the grab handle needs to be changed but have to order from Germany My model was built first week of Dec and came with Idrive 5.0. The thing I noticed is for models that came with the newer idrive(built Aug onwards I think), we can charge the battery in save battery mode up to 90% instead of 50%. The test drive unit I drove earlier had the older version of idrive and can only charge to 50%. This makes a huge difference especially travelling outstation. I'm surprised BMW Msia didn't make an announcement to this change. Just some additional info, fuel consumption varies quite a lot depending how many KM I travel/day. For trips usually within 50km/day with maybe 50/50 highway, I can get about 20-25km/L. When I travelled less/day, highest I achieved was about 30km/L and 1,100km before I refuelled. Outstation trips without charging facilities, will average about 15-16km/L with charging on the go every time I'm on the highway. I live in a condo but I pulled cabling from the riser room to the pillar of my parking lot so I can charge every night. Putting the charging rate to low, takes about 5-5.5 hours from 5% to full charge. Putting to maximum, takes about 3-3.5 hours from 5% to full charge. I also have the public charging cable and the chargEV card. Really useful since not many people do public charging now. Going to shopping malls I do not need to find parking hahaha. When everyone here starts to use the public charging facility more, don't go fighting for parking with me hahaha. One of my main concern now is regarding the real time traffic information. It is activated in my idrive settings but on the map, it doesn't seem to show the live traffic. If it is working properly, it is supposed to show green/yellow/red on the roads with traffic. However, in both types of map display it doesn't show anything. If I use the connected drive app on my phone, I can see the live traffic info when I use the destination search function. Used the connected drive in-car and called support services, they asked me to bring it in to a SC. If I can finally get real time traffic info to work, will compare it with Waze. Would much prefer to use the built in GPS due to the instructions also show on the HUD. Will keep everyone updated on the real time traffic info issue. Hope the info above is helpful and I look forward to meeting some of the members here in the near future!
