TNB came over and checked the following: 1) Power from their source coming into the house (from the meter). Checked all 3 phases and confirmed power coming in is 240V. 2) Checked the wall power plug where I used to charge the car. Confirmed the power output is 240V. After all these checks and discussing with TNB on the power usage and amp requirements of the adapter for the car, they confirmed that the power from the wall plug should be sufficient based on the charging requirements for the car. So, I plugged the 3 pin charger in and started to charge the car. It worked this time and the adapter did not cut off the power. The TNB guys were very helpful in checks and explanation and kudos to them for taking the time to come over to my house and conduct the check. The dealer was not very helpful and jump to conclusions that if it doesn't charge, there is something wrong with the power in your house. In conclusion, I believed my problem is with the 3 pin charger that was supplied with my car. I am on my 3rd charger after being replaced twice.
