i called the advertiser.... it's a typing error... 2002tii....not 2002tdi.....went for a look .....body has been modified....wider wheel arches to cater the type of wheels he uses.....engine not so smooth but injector is 'ALPINA' (credit) with modified air intake....interior...seats ok....dashboard koyak...a lot of detailing are missing.....no emblem neither logos.....front quad headlight.....rare....may be from other model....buat main ok...but not for restoration (i think)....price RM 14k nego....emmmmmm......i took a pass....

Thanks for the field report bro. :)

Wheel archers are ok mods as long as they are era specific. A koyak dashboard is typical of BMWs of this era and it would be near impossible to find a 2002 with a perfect dashboard in our climate.

The quad headlights are about as original on a 2002 as angel eyes are original on an E34 and square headlights on an E30. But they are quite common mods of the era. They are manufactured by Jaymic of UK. I prefer the original twin large 'bugeye' look though.

Oh, did you notice if it had round or rectangular tailights? If i'm not mistaken, a 1967 should have round tailights.
