Once in awhile, you will see water (but no overflowing) when it dissapears and the bleed hole looks dry (as if there is helluva lot of air). Only when i throttle abit, do i see overflow. The radiator expansion cap is kept close and the level doesn't fall (that is if it falls, it means coolant is replacing purge air/bubbles). Anyone knows the best possible way?I even remove the bleed screw on the thermostant (radiator bleed and expansion tank close) and after about 20mins, it will start to overflow. I screw it shut, and fisnish off with bleeding on the radiator, but it doesn't work like as on the thermostat.Anyone can help?
Need help from those who do their own bleeding on cooling system. I follow the bentley bmw 5 series service manual on bleeding and it says that i am suppose to remove the bleed vent screw and let the engine idle until overflow is seen. When i follow this, i can have the car idling for 30+mins and still no overflow seen on the bleed/vent hole.
