[QUOTE="ACS325i, post: 19191, member: 50"] Hi All, Recently i set out to buy a secondhand car. All went well, loan approved, puspakom went through but when the dealer wanted to transfer the car to my name they found out that the car was blacklisted by JPJ for having a different registration year in their records (which is 2007) compared to the chasis number registered which was in 2006. The only appointment available with JPJ is on the 18th of this month so till then i'll wait for the outcome. Need to ask all bros and sis out there if this is at all possible since the car was registered new by AB in 2006 and how suddenly now JPJ picked up upon the inconsistency? By the way seems that AB had to issue a letter to JPJ to help the dealer to rectify the matter.
