Dear sifus,i intend to fit my e46 3201 with Bilstein B12 spring........is it adviseable?

For E39, yes it's absorber + spring. Actually it's B8 absorber + spring (I don't know what spec but my springs are blue)

i heard some people say b12 comforts like original....not sure true or not
ansonsoo: but i think H&R a bit keras...betul ker????....pls advise.....a bit confused now

Bro, match with your Ori absorber or B12 ? For me, i will think keras is not really from spring, also see which damper you match with, damper itself will effect also. I use B8 with H&R spring on my Alfa 156 last time, before got the B8, i try H&R with Ori damper, i still feel it soft. After put in B8, then can few the keras !

seriously doubt B12 provides ori level comfort. based on my e34 they most definitely don't.

B12 is harder and more stiff compart to Eibach and H&R....

Harder or soft depend mostly on spring rate..... but B8 also affect a little as the shaft is thicker....

put the b8 to its use, the stiffer the better
if u looking for something in between, go for the b6
maybe u should get them separately,
cheaper option, buy used springs and try out first
they behave differently depending on cars
had it in my e36 and 156 now, never got it right the first time
infact im using 2 diff brands front and rear on the 156
it feels way more comfort on the italian, eibach sucked!
i can say it was uncomfortable on the e36, very harsh,
really depends on what u want.
however, they grip well, some mornings...butterflies in stomach

bro IM should be the one to speak to..

more comfort, less grip :)
