I just saw the Puspakom report and it says that the Visible Light Transmission on my front windscreen is 69%. Thus the film installed by V-Kool made my windscreen fall below the minumum VLT of 70% for the front. The sides are alright with 50% Where the minimum allowable VLT is 50%. Hence that is the reason why it had to be removed during the Puspakom inspection. This happened despite the "guarantee" given by V-Kool. Now they claim that what is approved is their tint and not the installation, hinting that the fault lies with the installer, Tint Shop in USJ. Irrespective of what I am left With the problem. The sides are alright with 50% Where the minimum allowable VLT is 50%. During the installation by Ecotint, I observed that V-Kool has 2 layers, the outer layers is the color and the second is the heat resistant layer with no color. I am told they adjust the darkness by varying the outer layer.
