I am sure you guys cant resist fliippng through the Motor Trader when you r in a bookstore. Unfortunately 90% of the ads are by dealers. The Star Online is also quite popular. Are there any other good sites/channels?

most advertising media for cars are being monopolized by dealers and salesman... i hate calling them from an ad, they wouldnt even know which car we r talking about... freakin annoying...

still prefer direct owners... you know wer to find them lo, like here...

Another alternative would be visiting http://www.rides.com.my. It is an auto classified website which not only targeted for used/recond cars but also cars from direct owner. You can post your car for sale here. Here you can also find accessories stuff too.

Another source would be through SC salesperson.. many new bimmer buyer trade in their tip top condition used bimmer.. That's what I did but still end up getting brand new unit.. through the same salesperson, after inspected quite a few used units introduced by the salesperson. Nothing beats a spanking brand new unit with warranty and 60k km BSRI intact..

Imagine having a brand new unit parking side by side during the inspection, with the lower financing interest, 50k difference in price between a 2005 and 2009 E90 is really not much.. remember, every year difference in age worth RM10k in BMW terminology, some more bigger 17" rim, brand new brake disc rotor, brand new RFT, Bi-Xenon, auto head light, rain sensor, electronic chair, zero mileage, just to name a few and you only pay a small fraction more in the monthly installment or extend the loan tenor by 1-2 years. Worth it to get a brand new unit!

In fact, all the sources mentioned are good places to look for a car. Just have to make sure we inspect and test drive the car if possible to avoid getting a lemon. Recently, my company has a E46 325i (year 2001) up for tender...opening price at RM82k+
