Belting PUTUS...!

I got to know that when belting putus, the valve all will bengkok. How much do i need to repair all this? Urgent!

Which belt putus, because your bmw engine probably uses a metal timing chain. If just rubber belt then no problem, only water pump aircon compressor or power steering affected.

If the rubber belt putus then just check whether it ripped/slashed off any sensors or electrical wiring in the area to cause engine problems... otherwise, not too bad really *fingers crossed* just replace and go.

I have the cylinder head complete with all the valves. This was taken out of my Red car when I did the conversion to M50B25. Cheap cheap only.

what engine? im driving an old E34, 520i 12 valve which i believe does not use the chain thingy. aiyooo! loads of damage ka if belting putus...aircond and all?! aiyooo..die la like this! Vincent, how much ure selling? absidian, metal timing chain is for wat year car yea? im crossing watever can be crossed, just to know that my car has that chain...

I wast even driving fast...it was 80km/h on the sungai besi highway and suddenly the engine went "pop"..one loud pop and the engine went dead...tried to crank it up...but the fler wont start. and so i towed the car back to melawati..

if positive the car gone, wat else wud it effect? and wat shud i do?

Go and get the head from vincent, buy top overhaul gasket set, buy new timing belt with new tensioner and if i may suggest change your water pump, radiator hose and your thermostat. After getting all this stuff go to your formen and ask him to do this job. Tq. Anything more pls call me at 0172068746.

I checked realoem.com, your car is E34 '95 520i should be metal chain, but I could be mistaken.

Then again, metal chains can also putus but it is rare and only at very high mileage.
