Lo peeps.. Does anyone here know how to retrieve info from the e36 motronic? I have heard that there are international forums that discuss this very topic.I'd like to retrieve this info and process live in my pda or a notebook, check fuel consumption and mileage.Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Why do you want to decipher the codes? These are machines codes. You have to have pretty good knowledge of the instructons code if you want to learn to reprogram the ECU. A lot of information can be obtained from the ECU. I guess you want to reprogram your fuel map parameters. However these type of programs exist in the market and are quite costly but they are proven and works.
