Suggest that you go on a driving holiday and just explore. One highway nearby where you can test terminal speed is the Guthrie Corridor Expressway as it nears the Rawang exit. You can access it from Shah Alam and from Rawang you can try the Ampang Pecah or Batang Berjuntai roads. All these are relatively traffic free at certain times of the day.
Phew! Almost missed the end of the Spanish GP! Interesting report CK, thanks. Yes, satnav is rather new in the Malaysian context and has some ways to go yet. From the way you talked about our potholes, guessed that you were an expat. Having grown up with potholes, we can avoid them with our eyes closed :) I grant you that the Christchurch-Mount Cook-Queenstown drive is without peer, but we have some stunning mountain roads too, especially up north. Have a good one! ;)
