Other than the standard template, here's a little intro:I don't think I was bitten by the Beemer bug recently - I think it was more like it was genetically passed down to me by my dad! You see, he is a "car" guy, owned many different makes and models of cars. He used to own a couple of 528i 5-series (E28 but unfortunately, I have no recollection of those, only in old photographs). I clearly remember having car rides in his old Mazda 626, Honda Preludes (he had 2) and an Alfa Romeo. The best car of all which my dad had was a kit car - a Ferrari-red coloured Sterling Nova. Unfortunately, it was not roadworthy (due to its fiberglass body construction) and could not get road tax and insurance for it. He sold it off to a friend after that. The last I heard was it was in his friend's showroom somewhere, it could've been in TTDI but I'm not sure. You can check out similar pics here (<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nova_%28kit_car%29" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nova_%28kit_car%29</a>). I bet if I had this Sterling Nova during my college days, I can get and score more chicks than I had in my past hahaha. Like Batman said in "Batman Forever" to Dr. Meridian Chase (Nicole Kidman) - "It's the car isn't it? Chicks dig the car". I'm married now by the way.A BMW may mean different things to different people - for me, my love affair started in 1996 (when I was in Form 5) and I fell in love with the 3-series (E36). I told myself "When I start working, I'm not gonna get me a Proton. I'm going to get a BMW 3-series. Or a Honda Civic EK". My dad also had Protons and I just didn't like them (this was at a point when my dad was into a used-car business/car rental business).Things didn't work out as planned, wrong career move (?) - a slight detour on the road of life. But the positive side was, when I started working, I still ended up with my Honda Civic (my first car!) which I got in 2004. It has served me well for the past 7 - 8 years but I think its time I give her the well-deserved rest she needs. Maybe she needs a new loving owner.I've worked hard and manage to own one of my dream cars. Now on to the next one.....It's taken me a longer time but I'm finally looking around for an E46 now. I just love the design and I may have found THE ONE so I'm making preparations. Then I can say that I'm a proud owner of a UDM! Someday, I might end up with an E36 just to satisfy that personal dream and say "I've done it once and I've done it again". I guess I'm a pretty realistic guy - a UDM will do, can't afford a Ferrari or Lamborghini. So, thanking all you sifus in advance. Other than the standard template, here's a little intro:I don't think I was bitten by the Beemer bug recently - I think it was more like it was genetically passed down to me by my dad!
