Good Day All,my rear axle problem,sound like woooouungggg...really need to change it.anybody please do inform if got second axle for sale.for info my car is 318 (1993),zf gearbox,axle ratio 4.45 ,rear drum braketks:stupid::hmmmm2:

u sur it.s the axle and not the rear wheel bearings?jack the car up and wiggle the wheels and see if there's play.other way is to lift both rear wheels,put it in gear and run the wheels to see where the sound is coming from......but be safe!

Ya, happens to me once. Tot it's the final drive but turn out to be wheel bearing that I spoilt. Even if ur diff is kaput. Rebuilting it should be ard 600rm. Better than a 2nd hand which dun garantee the condition and cost almost 700rm.

If really spoilt. Maybe take this chance to up to m3 rear axle (whole thing, rear disc + subframe + mid case diff) hehe.

i still not hearing below the car boot yet,but already change the rear wheel bearing n the sound still wooouuiiinggg.is it axle can be overhall,coz many said can't do it.just to replace only.

Would be better to just replace. Auto gearbox is it? Non-lsd axle's are abundant in chop shops.
