For longevity of box suggest the following:1. change oil regularly.....my guy advised every 30,000 km2. dont put gear in 'P' or 'N' when stop at lights etc. leave it in 'D'- only use 'P' when you are actually parking;3. wait till full stop before changing from forward to reverse or vice versa;4. use manual downshift to '3' , '2' , '1' appropriately ...... i.e. going up steep inclines, starting from standstill on wet road, for engine braking going downhil etc...... for overtaking someone here has suggested that the accelerator pedal is better then manual downshift...floor it until it hits a switch which induces downshift.....5. get a transmission oil cooler <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite1" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":)" /> ....just joking.....expensive option but just FYI its heat that kills autos....in our weather they will die sooner than in temperate climates...</blockquote>
