Some may moan about the crowd, the ticket pricing or what not, but can't deny it's great to see top notch players in action. Davydenko, Verdasco, Gonzalez, Monfils, Gasquet and chums were great. Verdasco was the crowd favourite, many specimen of the fairer sex went there just to see him.........Here are some photos to share. Lighting was challenging, so had to bump up the ISO.Monfils serving to Davydenko during their quarterfinal match :

Monfils serving again :

Botak Davydenko returning :

I was quite disappointed with Monfls' performance. He lost without putting much of a fight.

Not many coaches will tell you to jump into the shot, but then again we are nowhere the class of these ATP players.

Fresh from serving a ban for drug abuse (cocaine), Richard Gasquet :

The umpires had a good time too and the crowd really took to them. Here is one throwing free ball into the crowd :

Good shots Fab, just a little under about 1/3 to 1/2 stop, otherwise better pictures than I see on the newspaper

Cheers

D200 can't handle high ISO, limit it to ISO800 for most of the shots...

That means you need to upgrade to D300s and I need to upgrade to f/2.8 telephoto lens.....
