Anyone with post 2003 E46 with ribbon type power side mirrors switched to M3 mirrors?

Hi guys, not sure this topic was brought up before but anyone with post 2003 CKD upgraded/mod their current ribbon type non-folding power + memory mirrors to those M3-alike folding mirrors?Was told that most if not all of the M3 aftermarket power folding mirrors only comes with normal wires (non-ribbon) and is not compatible.Asking this coz just got bitten by the round M3 power folding mirror bug. :rock:Added photo for reference.Ribbon
