Message: <blockquote data-quote="Jeffry12" data-source="post: 29951" data-attributes="member: 26546"><p>Hi all, I sent my E46 325 to MSpeed for complete servicing & replacement of wear & tear items.  From what I gather from the forums over the years, MSpeed uses CASTROL EDGE fully synthetic oil for oil change, which is also what is recommended by BMW.  However, now MSpeed is promoting ROWE synthetic oil.  It is supposed to be German made oil and developed for Audi and VW.  Having not heard of this brand before, I googled to find out more and it exists but is a relatively small organisation started in 1995 with around 100 pax.  It is certainly not the main oil recommended by VW and AUDI as claimed, however the fully synthetic range complies with VW, Audi and BMW Long Life specifications.  Request comments / feedback from forummers who have experience with this oil.  Personally I prefer to stick to known brand i.e. CASTROL EDGE but since Ah Meng was really pushing for it and I am in the midst of building my relationship with him (as advised by sifus here), I agreed to use the ROWE.  However, if any negative feedback on it, I will instruct him to revert back to CASTROL.  Thanks and hope for some feedback soon..</p></blockquote><p></p>
