I had wished t have laid this to rest at this time, but since I was asked..... 1. I am quite puzzled as to why you think the CM is like the ruling party in Malaysia? That answer is in my first post...on introducing segregation to this Club, when there never was. 2. From the way I understand it, once the CM are elected into office, do they automatically owe the OM's a living? The Comm as elected members owe a duty as being responsible for the proper management of this Club to paying members of this Club. There is no issue of owing a living, as you put it. 3. Are the CM paid in this case pursuant to the question no. 2? Redundant question in view of my answer to #2. 4. Why it is viewed as segregation when it could be interpreted as a call of goodwill gesture to chip in on the beer corkage charges? Refer to my earlier post where a number of examples have been given. In addition to this I will like to ask: 1. Why did AB make this decision unilaterally? 2. Why did AB make the assumptions he admittedly did? 3. How is this issue going to be handled, bearing in mind that this Club is fully responsible (constitutionally and legally) for all the monies it collects and handles, where when these monies will be collected, used, and excess credited to the Club's accounts, which decision to do so has admittedly been the sole decision of a singular Comm member and not the Committee? Either relevant party may contribute in response. Just my curiousity as an OM....
