It might also be a lil long but well.. I figure providing information might help with any questions I'll possibly have in the future. As the topic would suggest, I should start with myself.I'm 27, and I work in the creative industry. Currently using the Walkwagon GTI - 0-100 in forever. Was previously driving a Kelisa , until it got stolen. So, I figure that's as good an excuse as any to change cars.. I realize I'm in a BMW forum, but I thought the Kelisa was a decent little thing actually. decent power to weight ratio, go-kart like handling.. And the whole load of other practical factors. But well, since I need another car now, I figure I'll start looking for a real car ... not a go-kart on steroids. To Hades with practicality and all, that's what I was thinking when I originally got the Kelisa but since it got stolen I can only take it as a sign that I should indulge myself. 6 cylinders instead of the dinky 3... RWD..hmmmm....As a driver, I prefer acceleration over top-end, windy roads over long straights.. I recently discovered I really like how RWDs feel in a turn.. and I will be a manual driver till the day I need knee replacement surgery (i just feel a complete and total lack of confidence behind the wheel of an auto..<img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite9" alt="" title="Eek!" loading="lazy" data-shortname="" /> I also think it takes all the fun out of driving) Design wise, I'm a fan of 70s-90s cars. I would like an E30TU . While I like older designs, I kinda like the idea of putting a more updated heart in the e30. Nothing fancy, something with a twincam would keep me happy.
