I belive ur car was registered in Japan year 2000 and when the used car bring in that time they declared at 2000 manufactured coz the certificate of origin issued in japan follow the year of registration which is yr 2000. therefore when they bring in the documents will be all in 2000. Ur car might be  97 new car but only sold in yr 2000 in japan (old stock). Becareful of japan car coz the COO issue on the yr they register the car not the yr manufactured.</p></blockquote><p></p>
