Good Day Guys..

I have a 2011 528i F10. lately I am facing this issue where my air cond is not cold Intermittently. When checked at a workshop the fault was 801222 "Air conditioning compressor: Switch-off due to missing DME/DDE release"

I sent it to auto bavaria, they advised that I might have to replace the compressor. I know the compressor is not jammed and I was not convinced, so I just asked them to conduct the regular service and not to replace the compressor.

Any of you have faces this before and any advise?
