aircon problem.....need some advice

hi to all sifus.....need some advice here on my aircon problemmy car is m54b25here's my aircon problem:1. the first time d car is started for the day....the aircon is not cold when switched on.....i have to switch off and on a few times then the air is cold...that means if I come home at night...car parked overnight until next morning....it happens....but it doesn't happen when within the day i on and off the car...2. the air flow sometimes varies by itself when I set manual fan speed. its a very intermittent problem and occurs like once in a blue moon.apart fr these two issues....my aircon is as cold and cools down quite fast during a hot day i've been to Naidu and a couple of other aircon workshops....they can't find any faultgas pressure is okcompressor pressure oso ok....i send for error checking....oso no error found....most workshop say don't do anything unless its totally not cold.....i'm in a state of dilemma and wished there is a fixed answer to this....hope sifus here can advice me

I'm using e60 m54b25 japan spec.. also faced the same problem last time..
went to a workshop, he asked me to change the compressor..
but then i found out about a workshop in subang..
then they fixed it for about either rm300 or rm600.. i can't remember the exact price..
now all good and cold :top:

I had the same exact problem! Compressor doesn't kicks in during cold start (left overnight) until say 1 minute after the car been started. After that it's all good and cold. if say I stop for a short while and start the car, no such problem. Only if car been left for long hours. Consulted Naidu and one near Rasta TTDI and didn't detect any problem. A fellow forummer did recommend K&S Auto @ USJ where he serviced his E46 whole aircond system for RM300. Have not got time to send there yet.

same place i serviced my e60.. very good and reliable.. that's where i fixed my aircond problem too.. and plus, it is nor far from my house

if I may ask....roughly where is USJ 6? I'm not familiar with Subang area.

Air-cond does not turn cold in temperatures under 16 degrees by default (external temp). Maybe thats what happened in early mornings? After about 1 minute the engine is hot and then the aircond turns cold....

So has pam visited K&S at USJ? he's a very busy man. went over early mornin yesterday just to check on my aircond but he said he don't have time due to long queue of cars. it's only 9am.

Nope. Haven't visitted them yet. So far my aircon ok for now.
