Air Cond Blower Control "resistor"

On my way home, the aircond blower control " resistor"is busted. It looks like some kind of triangle thingy with alot of protuding tiny rods. My old one does not seem to have that much.The whole triangle box is plastic black except for the rods that looks like shiny stainless steel. Its stated on the unit as ALCATEL Made in Germany. Part number is 64 11 6 923 204. Didn't know alcatel manufactures car components... Any idea how to tell if its ORI or OEM? I paid RM360 for that thingy including installation.... BTW, anybody knows where to get BMW parts in Penang?Thanks!

That sounds about right.

Changed mine as well for abt the same price, also from Alcatel.

Was yours ORI or OEM? I called Bav Auto..they quoted OEM at 207 but a whopping 460 for ORI. AB only sells it at 399...so confusing...
