I came across a car '99 E38, which has a 4:3 monitor display for the control unit instead of the standard MID console. The monitor seems to have problem, it goes blank but the GPS ( Which is not working for MAlaysian Map ) shows the last resort of the UK Map. When tried switching from GPS to control, the screen is blank. Is this problem related to the IKE or the IBUS of the system or could it be the monitor itself. The radio comes of only after some time, and need to wait for a few minute before it actually works .Appreciate if I would have some feedback if any one had similiar problem, so that I could estimate the damage cost.
