the felt cover of my e36 is coming loose. plastic hook that fastens it to metal pillar broken. meantime using doub;e-sided tape to put it togtehr. doesn't lastwhere can i get it fixed in PJ/KL? does the whole cover have to be changed?on a diff note, the darn "brake light circuit/tail light fail" messages come on frequently now. damn irritating.gonna take it to a Rawang auto electrical specialist Nick Ng to fix. this guy comes highly recommended by Yamin Vong of Cars, Bikes & Trucks (NST).

A-pillar felt cover - you can just buy a new one from AB, not too expensive.
If you really want to get it fixed, i am sure that some plastic filler that you can mold can be made to fix the brackets that hold the metal clips in place so that you can bolt it back to the car.

Lights - get a solder iron and some lead, 10 bucks from any DIY shop.
Pull the light bulb holder and look for the 2 metal tabs that complete the connection to the rear lamp housing. The tabs should be small and a little bit curved. Put a drop of lead onto it, not too thick, and it will make a better connection when you plug it back in.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

You can replace the plastic hook with a metal. I got mine done at optimum in kayu ara. you have to leave the cover there, takes about 1 week, cost about rm30-40
