So, when life gets one feeling like the roadkill at the bottom of one's RE001, what does one do?  One gets out and drive.And here, Malaysia reveals itself.  Almost literally at my backyard, there is a recently re-surfaced highway to the klia.  Whoever did the resurfacing has done a job befitting of the nearby Sepang track itself. The road is flat.  I mean flat.  I mean Lexus ad put a glass of wine on your dashboard and you won't spill a drop flat.  It is also straight.  In two sections, it is as straight as your eyes can see, almost until it merges with the horizon straight.  And well lit.  I bet the planes taking off and landing can see this highway.  Heck, the pilots probably use it as a landmark.  Singapore wants to conduct a night race?  They should come a look at this highway.If you are looking for a place to decarbonize your engine, you won't find a better stretch.Got a persistent vibration you were not sure was caused by the road surface or by your car?  Wondering how much of it was caused by the Yokos, rims, Eibach, H&R, or how much was simply due to the damn uneven road?  Come here.  Ever wonder whether your bodykits impart any downforce and a wind-tunnel is not available? This is the next best thing. You can finally test the fibre-dude's drag coefficient "...won't fly off at speed one..." claims.After a session at this in-car high but lawful speed (cough cough) moving spa, I am completely relaxed, spent, and beatific. All the stresses of life on my shoulders I have laid end-to-end on a 10 km stretch of pristine tarmac.  I paid my toll with a smile.  Maybe the dude should not have lost his job if he can build something like this.Despite all of this land's flaws, despite all its inequity, despite all its Alan-Cooper-inmates-running-asylum nature of things, sometimes in this country, we get it right.  Like this piece of road.
