Helo sifus, looking to own my first UDM (ultimate driving/dream machine hehe) soon but will take my time to find the perfect ride. Still need to figure out what i really want vs. need. E46 320 vs 325... Current location is putrajaya. Any TTs around here? I can only read so much thread in a day, by the time habis baca e46 sudah antique haha

Hi! Welcome to the forum. You can get pretty much all the information you need on E46 here. Plenty of old threads created for E46 320 vs 325. Of course the final verdict will be, get the 325i of you got the moolah. Like the saying goes "There's no replacement for displacement". If you're just looking for a UDM for cruising, 320 should be sufficient. I was only looking at 330 and 325 when I was hunting for my first UDM few months back. Hehe

Thanks bro! Still reading up on both topics but now heavily leaning towards a 325. Have never experience the double vanos vs single vanos, care to share your experience? Most of the time it will be for cruising, but for the ultimate driving experience have to have that power when you need 'em! :wink:

Well agai, like the saying goes "Test drive to believe it". Haha. There are pre and post-facelift 325s which ranges around RM60k-RM100k (depends on year, condition and trim - Exclusive vs M-Sport), the last batch would be 2005 ones which still can fetch around RM90-100k for M-Sport ones. All are double-vanos.

Thanks bros for the welcome notes! Looking fwd to a TT session in the near future. Not sure yet on the drivedown to Melaka on 16/6, how can i join if i dont own a udm? Haha.

Would be good to get some firsthand experience in the cars i'm interested in during the TT sessions or convoys. My last experience driving an e46 was many many yrs ago, in a 323ci on snow covered road. Imagine how far we got after 10mins hahahaha. Had some experience driving long hauls in e90 328xi in snow too. Smoked all the other 4x4 SUVs on the highway! Recently testdrove the e90 320d 2011, a beast! But that one out of my range la hehe.
