Greetings bro JohnJ. Thank you for your comments bro JJ. With all due respect bro, yes I am aware that you are addressing the post to bro ramsing but to say that I am taking it "out of context" is not the right meaning bro JJ as it means that I am making a false attribution (to omit certain passage) to distort its intended meaning, which I did not. It was just a harmless reply (done in good faith) in general to say that its ok to start a thread in (any numbers) to discuss issues, with a reminder to everyone to have an open mind and be positive when posting or responding to posting in the forum. Any harm in that? The sad part is, even if we post such reminder and or advise here in the forum, some dont see it that way. A few would say its a form of SOP reply, lip reply and god knows what :frown: .. Nevertheless, I am sorry if you have felt that way. It was never meant to be seen as taken it "out of context". However if your thinking is still that I hv taken it out of context, I will comment no further on that posting as I believe I hv been totally misunderstood. Back to this current posting and to address this issue, was wingzee reprimanded or humiliated here?? I dont think so. A simple question from an OM Herbert who happens to be one of the CM and the Moderator of the forum, is considered humililiation? He did what he did, some will say its nothing, some will say its a no no and the silent majority is looking at this with a big sigh :frown: ... The way I see it, everything seems to be so negative each time our Herbert post something in the forum :stupid:.. Bro JJ, I was also refraining myself from addressing this issue which I believe Herbert is currently handling. Look at all my posting, its only reminding all to have an open mind and be positive when posting in the thread, though at times I find it hard to abstain from touching on that issue. You have been here before bro and you know how this works. Too many cook will spoil the soup hey say and that is why when adddressing (debatable, conflicts, sensitive issues and wht not) in the forum, it has been agreed that our VP and myself (if the need arises) will be doing it. Mocking and humiliation thrown are the works of some irresponsible few and definilty not from the CM. Back to the main issue (which has deviated too far from the title of this thread), your thoughts on this is noted bro and to set the record straight, nobody, least of all OM wingzee has been reprimanded. He has been asked about his sale, from a member persective who has shown interest to buy it. Humiliating? Defensive? Puzzled? It's anybody's guess. Wingzee has his right to sell (his personal items) at any price he wants (not taking into account of this commercial thingy), that is his previlage but dont we have the right to ask "why your price is too high" and so on? Willing seller willing buyer yes and if one is willing to sell, one must also be willing to answer on queries pertaining to items one put up for sale, no? Ever try looking at the other side of the coin bro? Why are we so judgemental towards others? Giving the benefit of doubt to both, what Herbert did was for the benefit of all, not to humiliate anyone but to safeguard the interest of the members and himself, as a buyer. Personally I believe both are not wrong here. Wingzee has his right to put up his price and Herbert has also his right to ask why (its high). Yes, it could be done in other tactful manner (pm or in person) and or other ways but everyone have their own "style" and definitly Herbert has his. Infact, so are the rest of the guys here. However, sad to say some are here only to make others look bad, no? A few would even pick up on issues (already closed) and add more fuel to ignite it again, with the expectation that people will jump in and add more drama to it :frown: .. (I will not be surprise that this statement of mine will be made and issue and a new thread will pop-up, debating it). With the permission from the TS, pls allow me to go off topic a bit to address bro JJ comments. The Classified is not a free for all place where any OM can simply put up items for sale and mark-up whatever price he/she wants to. Thats not right bro. Like you have mention, you want a good deal when it comes to buying an item in the forum and what we do with measure introduced, is to ensure just that. : .. Even a paid Vendor, will not do such things by simply putting too high a price on their product for sale. To add to that, we had even insisted on our Vendors to display their price tag for the benefit of our members to view. FYI bro, The Classified Section was "never closed" to any CG to sell their surplus but with condition that they will have to do their selling via any OM that they know or worst off they can seek assistance from any CM to post their items for sale. This measure was taken to curb unscrupulous buyer/seller that has been rampant in our forum prior to this. For the record, there are a few CGs that had managed to sell off their items (via an OM/CM assistance) despite the ruling we imposed. We may differ in opinion bro JJ but I believe at the end of the day, you or us (CM) would want the members interest and the forum integrity to be safegaurded. As for the matter at hand, to bro wingzee (and Mr VP), to have this matter resolve and close immediately, I am extending my invite to you to attend our meeting this Saturday (16th) so we can have a face to face discussion to close this issue. If you are free and agree to accept this invite, please pm me or the Club Secretary and he will notify you of the venue and time us to meet :top: .. Warmest regards all ... ...
