I picked up an engine (unknowingly that it was out of a 95 w/VANOS), dropped it in, and now I get a "no-start problem." <img src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" class="smilie smilie--sprite smilie--sprite3" alt=":(" title="Frown    :(" loading="lazy" data-shortname=":(" /> I'm definitely thinking it has to do with cam timing because it backfires 3-4 times when attempting to start the engine. Is it possible to strip this engine of the VANOS or should I get a 3.3.1 DME and harness for a VANOS equipped engine? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
