I have an e23 7281 auto which I am not driving at present that might make a good project for someone:
- Entire car was stripped to the chassis primed, repainted and reupholstered in '98
- Auto Transmission rebuilt with new clutch pack and valve plates in 04
- Paint is shot ( courtesy of a clever painter who thought a good way to get rid of overspray was to wipe it with lacquer thinner)
- six pieces of alloy 15" rims
- Tires is good condition
- Engine needs rings
- Leaks in Power steering hoses
- Brakes etc in good nick
- Runs OK but uses oil.
- dashboard and guages in good nick
- New radiator a couple of years back
