I'm seeing it in the flesh this weekend at the Ingress Performance Drive event @ Desa Park City!

u want bigger alloys gotta pay extra RM35,000. http://paultan.org/2012/06/29/bmw-640i-gran-coupe-launched-rm788800/ i must say exterior wise it looks really good but im not really impressed by the interior. the centre console is more comfortable than the 5er but its a bit too boring and bland for a 800k car. still, a much better purchase than the horrible ugly underpowered panamera.

I love everything about the Gran Coupe.. the exterior design,the interior and the engine choices.But I think it looks best in Msport guise which should come with appropriately sized alloys.If one can pay rm789k for it,I don't think rm35k is a problem

Actually, I think it is overpriced for what the car is. Looks like same engine as 335i, interior not that great and although the exterior design is quite smooth, is it better than a 7 series, Mercedes S class or CLS?

Had a look at the car in the flesh and without driving it, that's the extent of my opinion. Bootspace also not great, then again I suppose the target audience are those who already have 7 series or S class and just want something different???

All cars in Malaysia is overpriced.. including Protons and Pero2,let alone BMWs.To make things worse,the Gran Coupe is more expensive compared to the CLS to the tune of nearly £20k! So overpriced is an understatement me thinks
I wouldn't buy the GC even if I had the money..not at the announced official price.Maybe grey imports say 3years down the line would be more acceptable.

I gotta second supergripen. It doesn't look as visually stunning or flamboyant as the CLS, the benchmark of "4-door coupes", and yet it's much more expensive after you take into account the RM35k Premium Package.

in some ways the gran coupe is actually a bargain in malaysia as the price diff in stock standard brand new form is only rm 20k xD. and the bimmer drives and looks so much better than the ubiquitous CLS

I love the 6series in red. Especially red. Its awesome on the road. Saw a few. But sadly, the 6series isn't doing that well in the malaysian market. What a shame because the 6series is such a stunning car.

Imagine driving in a red 6 series. I wish i have the buying power.
