Hi All,Just sent my car for repair last week, fixed one item call Adjust Unit, so call the valve/ vanos of our E60,So bloody expensive, costs almost RM 950 per unit! The question is:1) Is this the market price of should it be cheaper?Anyhow, after changing it, I felt my car's response is so much better, much more powerful compare to last time.

I'm still new in BMW world so I don't know much.. but what I know is that if you have the part's number... there are a lot of BMW part stockists around Klang Valley, particularly in Jalan Ipoh and PJ area. As far as I concern, the part can be 20-30% cheaper compared to those in AB, Sapura or Ingress

outside might b cheaper but i think doing it at any authorized SC is worth it. although u pay more, but u dun need to worry abt d installation procedure + u can get warranty for d part u replaced. adjuster unit is d metal piece in front of d vanos, which controls advance/retard position of ur engine timing. if u buy frm a normal spare part shop, although they claim tht d part is under warranty, but d warrenty is hard to claim. most of them will blame on wrong installation n etc. + dun mess with d timing of ur engine. better to let d specialist handle these sort of cases
