It doesn't seem to be as cold as the front vent, infact, it is kind of warm air. My kids have been complaining a lot since it is quite warm. To make it cold, I had to bring down the front temperature a lot (that freezes me up by the way) so that they can get cold air. I have complained twice (each time I send in for service) to AB KL and they have tried to do something about it. Finally they said it's normal. BS, my half-the-cost-of-a-BMW Camry has better rear air cond than the 520d. Anyone else having the same problem in their 2-zone air-cond? I do not expect it in the 4-zone air-cond.
