No 520D come with voice command for call only,

press and say "help" you hear the command.

Good to hear. Just want to check alan 9600, when you press the voice button on the steering wheel is there a ding sound and you can use it? I was told that the new 2012 520D (which has the EcoPro function & Auto Engine Start/Stop (at traffic light)) dont have the voice command function for the phone. Find it a bit strange since the Owner's manual talks about it.

zaak, do you have the reverse camera installed? As mentioned on the extremely long thread on the rev cam, the voice command function at the present does NOT work together. All those that has it, including myself are waiting for firmware updates of the CIC to solve this issue.

FYI, was informed that the new firmware was uploaded March 14, V46 they have installed it in my car.

I am however not sure if the firmware will resolve the voice command issue as my update was for another issue.

I just got mine 1 week ago. Added feature like Eco thing, useless anyhow. My first diesel car, can't use to the engine sound and smell. But, it's very nice to drive and consumption is like hybrid car (with much more power). Anyone wants to tune this baby? Heard BMW Malaysia is launching it this month!

Good News! AB has downloaded the telephone voice command into my 520d. So now I have telephone voice command together with the remote camera.
