I own a BMW 5-"silly" that required to top-up engine oil after travelling 5,000 to 6,000 km. It is "NORMAL" for such high performance car ? I hv sent my car to BMW service center and was told the car perform within "SPEC" (i dont know what spec they refer to), and i have to top-up the engine oil once the indicator light up. I asked "how long can i travel after the indicator light up?". NO answer was given. Therefore, every time after driving about 5,000km, i either not to travel long distant, or have to drive with stressful mind. What kind of "plesure driving" ?Any 5-"silly" owner can share your experient ?
