There are so many brands out there. Check with bmw7833. He has retrofit his E39. Learn from his mistake and experience. What to avoid and what to do.I have only retrofit my Fog lamp which does not have a circuit checkerand no issue there. My headlamp is original HID so I do not have first hand experience in retrofitting it.
