Dear Expert,Can you confirm the attached model is in what year?The salesman said year 2002 at Sri Changgung Jalan U-Thant. But, from my observation ths model os more likely to 2001 model. Asking price 170K. Milage 27000 km. Carbon fiibre interior. HID lightsI have placed booking of $1K. But still thinking ...whether this is a good deal. Unable to get the chasis number. Will post it once available.

Akmal.. whether its 2001 or 2002 it'll be clearly stated on the car registration card. You should take a look at that to confirm. Mileage 27k for a 5 year old car? Hmmm.. That'll be 15 km / day on average.. Fishy..

Ak, I'm happy for you lar if you've finally found the car that you feel for.. its just 170k for a 325i? Hmmm.. I can carbon fiber my whole car for less than 10k.. and pack up the whole car with goodies for less than 20k.. Ultimately, your choice..

I think it is year 2001 too.
After checking the VIN number it is confirmed manufactured year 2001 (March).
Thinking of change the model to 320i year 2003 M-Sport Japan Spec. (xenon light) at RM160000 (mileage 32000km). Better look, but slightly less power. But 320 should be enough for me.

you sure or not??. you may regret after a while...i suggest you continue sounting for 325' year 03 or 04 CKD, asking price should be within your budget. all the best!!

akmal.. safri's right.. go scout around some more.. besides, I'll think twice before buying anything from a salesman that's not honest. Who knows what else he's not telling.

Furthermore, with a budget like yours for an e46.. the harvest should be plentiful I mean, wouldn't a registered 325i facelifted version with lots of thrown in goodies be tempting to you?
