keep up... as in these FI cars are not able to pull away easily arnd SIC... boy i was shocked as well. these car's r superior in the back n front straights and turn 9 up-hill due to massive torque n hp advantage. once u hit turn 2 & 3, a superior handling car can close e gap n close up w these high powered FI cars until the back straights again. of course i'm only referring to SIC design n the fact tt a 325 is able to remain in zone in most of the bends n corners. i played w a FD2R who took 2 laps to overtake me in e front straights n thereafter i was behind him for the rest of the laps. wen we pitted he came over to say hi n asked abt my car setup, i said KW V3's and 19"s PS2 and lastly i showed him e BMW logo  n i dink my power box helped me bit bit lar... also managed to pull away from RX8 manuals and manage to keep up w stock GTI, STI, RX7 and Evo7. (Evo X, just too fast somehow ) A 325i w right suspension n tire setup is able to WOT n flat out on most of the bends in SIC. thus being in max torque n high rev range (ie 4.5k n above) on most area's arnd the track, dat's e only advantage. whereas other FI monster have to content w throttle control & torque steer, traction problem, etc. however in e hands of a very skilled driver, they will eat 325 for breakie, lunch n dinner. i've also driven n been on track on EVO's n STI and understand how fast these car's r w e right driver. but my related experience is with the typical Joe, in which most of the owner r anyway. lastly bmw's r really boring on track if u dun turn on DTC but rev limiter is big turn off. does not allow u to over rev n also downshift ie engine braking so u need to work e shifters hard. so if u drive all out den its mostly above 4.5k most of e time n hard braking. but w DSC off, walaueh... u need to be at least jeremy clarkson to drive it arnd e track... scary... dun try if not trained. on twisty roads like uluyam, it's a matter of who's B!@#s is bigger.. make sense ahaha. i think btwn a 325i n 320d, there really isnt much difference in terms of specs so skill wld come to play. also 320d comes in 17"s n 325i in 18's, makes a difference in acceleration(320d) n also handling(325i). pls dun ask me to race.. i have got nuthing to prove n i dun have BIG B!@#s coz i empty them often lastly i lurve BMW's... in all guises, models n specs....
