I did a drag race with a F30 320i and lost, also on the straights at Sepang after turn 15, the 320i easily gets in front of me just before turn 1 even if I exit the corner of turn 15 faster than the 320i. So I know and for sure the 320i is definitely faster on a straight run and straight stretches (stock car vs stock car). The fact that is, as much as the diesel is a fun car to drive with great FC (hehehe I still had half tank of fuel after a 4 hour track day session), the higher RPM range of a petrol engine plays a damn big role.</blockquote>
