Good afternoon! Before I expose the hiccup I had yesterday, allow me to give some context:I drive my 2009 320d at most 3 times a week. It oftentime stays without driving for 3-4 days. That's good for mileage ;-)Yesterday morning, sick of taking the LRT all the time, I decided to take my car to work and enjoy nice diesel driving. However, the car refused to start (it didn't even crank, just quiet). Everytime I pushed the "start" button, the electricals would light up and an orange exclamation mark ("!") would show on the meter cluster digital screen and flash (my 320d does not have iDrive). I kept trying to get the car starting for 3-4 minutes and it refused to ignite. I then did a diagnostic test using the onboard computer menu and I got the "CHECK OK" screen, indicating that nothing was wrong. Finally, after leaving the car alone for 2 minutes, I reinserted the key, pushed "start" and everything was just fine again! The car started without any problem. During the same day, I also got no trouble at all starting the car numerous times. What was the problem you think? And more importantly what does the "!" mean? Is it the battery that is low? My car has now been parked for two days and I will try to start it again tomorrow. Thanks for your input and info!Cheers.
