And I would say the 5th gear ratio is 1:1 cos I have searched before and I have even tempted to swap to the E36 gearbox cos the 5th gear ratio for E30 is 0.81:1 (overdrive), and it can't harvest the torque like a 1.1 ratio would at 5th gear but too many things to do for the swap.the only trouble for u now is the long shaft, u MIGHT need to custom cut and weld the 318i long shaft to fit into your 325i. That's when u might get drive train vibration. Unless u can source for a half shaft meant for the 325i manual.</blockquote>
